Genre
Hard rock / rock and roll
The Good
A crunchy riff heads the charge on "Pull It Out." The cock-sure
and gritty vocals are a testament of a true rock frontman. "Highway" is
a driving track with a powerful chorus. "9/16" employs heavy riffs
and pounding drums. "Cherry Bomb" will rope you in with its hook
laden chorus and fiery guitar solo. While the lyrics of "Coke Whore" are
laughable, the song is actually quite catchy.
The Bad
The production aspect could be better. The backup vocals could be stronger
and match up better with the leads. There is one ballad on this CD, "I
Can Feel It," and it is not suited for the edgy tones of the vocalist.
I would have put the back cover on the front of the album.
The Verdict
Snitches Get Stitches isn't perfect, but it's not horrible either. If you
want bare-bones, edgy, and raw rock and roll then head the Rahway.
