Cracker Didn't Follow Trends, They Created Them
Submitted by Matt

Just read a review of yours about Cracker [Get On With It: The Best
of Cracker]
(read
CD review). You referred
to them as boring and mundane. You are entitled to your opinion , but to
say
they
jumped
on
the Pearl Jam and Nirvana bandwagon is idiotic. Dave Lowery was inventing
his own genre when those guys where still in flannel diapers. Try Uncle
Tupelo and
Green on Red, and you would be a lot closer.
Editor’s note: Finally,
a coherent and intelligent rebuttal to a review. Although, Cracker...innovators?
