ROCK IS LIFE PRESENTS: FAVORITE SITES 2005
by George Dionne
Even I know that there's more to the web than Rock Is Life (not bloody much!),
so I'd like to share with you some of my favorite music and non-music related
websites:

www.blabbermouth.net
This is where I go for my hard rock news. Rumors, hearsay,
facts, and more can be found here. Updated constantly.

www.my.yahoo.com
Select the news and information that you want, the way you want it. Plus
access all of the features that Yahoo! provides, such as mail,
maps, groups, and
search
tools to name a few.

www.melodicrock.com
If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have discovered the whole
melodic rock/AOR scene that was still alive and well on the other side of
the globe. Although I don't care for their lengthy reviews, Melodic Rock
offers previews, samples, news, and a pay site that features lots of rare
material.
www.snopes.com
Do you ever wonder if that e-mail your friend sent you with
that amazing picture is real? Ever wonder if they'll find that little read
head girl that's missing? Ever wonder is Walt Disney is really frozen? Snopes
exposes urban legends to be fact or fiction. I must say that you will be
surprised at what is fact and what is a hoax.
www.rajah.com
I used to be a big fan of wrestling, but as I got older I
kind of grew out of it. Every now and then I get curious as to what's going
on
in the WWE. Rajah keeps you updated daily about the WWE's television and
pay-per-view programming, plus backstage news and rumors you can't get from
anywhere. Although, they've been LOADED with advertisements lately.
www.metalsludge.tv
Who says that eighties and early nineties metal scene is
dead? Metal Sludge covers the music scene with quick with and a sense of
humor.
There biggest draw of course is their famous 20 questions, rewinds, 3 winds,
back-4-mores, and gossip board.

www.94hjy.com
Rhode Island & Massachusetts' home of rock and roll. A great
mix of the old stuff and the new stuff. I've also won tickets to many a
great concert from them.
