Guess What? Michael Kiske Doesn't Want to Make Metal!

I just wanted to say that your so-called "reviews" are pretty laughable. Reading the comments on the new Kiske album (read CD review) rather told more about the people running this site than the album itself, thank you. The review basically says the album sucks cause it ain't metal. It doesn't give any insight on the music AT ALL. Great work dude! Anything that ain't metal sucks! Yeah, how mature.

Maybe you should learn the meaning of words such as "constructive criticism," "objectivness," and "subjectivism" in terms of writing and expressing an opinion. Comments such as "No one wants to hear melodic pop rock from you" or "we’re all pissed that you released this crap" is pretty arrogant, not to say childish. How old are you, 14? And who are you to speak for the masses? I sure as hell want to hear Kiske doing exactly the music he does on this new album, and so does at least some 1000 of his fans who appreciate the music he does nowadays.

The comment referring to Steve Perry and David Lee Roth was just retarded and irrelevant to anything. Why should Kiske make music only to please you? GUESS WHAT: HE DOESN'T WANT TO MAKE METAL! Get over it. I for one love his new album, and wouldn't for a sec want him to return to metal as long as he continues to wrtire quality melodic rock albums like this one. If you don't appreciate his music these days, simply don't listen to it, but don't attempt to write a review if you're not able be constructive and AT LEAST obtain some sort of objectivity! That's all.

Editor’s note: In my defense I did say he sounded great on that album. However, I believe sales back me up in my statement that no one wants to hear anything but metal from Kiske. Who am I to speak for the masses? Why I'm a former Kiske fan! I'm sure there's plenty like me. I will agree with you on one thing, Kiske probably does have 1000 fans left.
